It all started with the idea of having a small open sailboat in the Mediterranean. The small open boat quickly became a small sailboat with a cabin, and as things usually go the small boat became a sailing yacht worthy enough to cross oceans. So when we saw this old English sailing yacht for sale online it was love at first sight (think: beautiful lines). The only downside was that the yacht was in a pretty bad shape (think: zombie boat from a horror movie). Fortunately, we were both naive enough at the time to think it would only take a couple of months to refit the boat. How wrong we were!
